HP has unveiled several new business notebook computers and Ultrabooks designed for business users and IT professionals. One of the most interesting is the HP EliteBook 800 series, ultrabooks that are up to 40% thinner and 28% lighter than previous versions.
The 800 series ultrabooks meet MIL-STD 810G specs so they are tough. They feature a magnesium unibody chassis with aluminum accents and can be fitted with an optional backlit keyboard. The EliteBook 820 G1 has a 12-inch display and weighs less than 3 pounds. The EliteBook 840 G1 has a 14-inch display with optional touch technology and a battery life of up to 33 hours with an optional secondary Slice Battery. You wont be recharging this one as often.
