HTC Posts Operating Loss Of $101 Million

Sadly for HTC fans, HTC is not doing well right now, which is pretty odd since their phones are good. Now the company has posted their first operating loss of over $101 million.

This is the company’s first operating lost in it’s history. There is always the chance that they will recover in the next quarter though. HTC had warned investors that they could be facing a loss. They even had trouble with shortages with HTC One Mini casings which means that the company could not produce and sell as many units as they would have hoped for.

HTC had a total revenue of $1.6 billion, and an operating loss of $119.4 million before taxes. Hopefully they can get past this and keep making quality phones.
