A company called Zepp Labs has unveiled a series of motion sensors designed to help people improve their sports game. The sensors are available for golfers, baseball players, and tennis players and are called the Zepp 3D motion sensor. The sensor is available in Zepp Baseball, Zepp Golf, and Zepp Tennis flavors.
Each of the sensors has an integrated ARM processor, multiple motion sensors, and of storage for 200,000 tennis swings, or 2000 baseball and golf swings. The device uses an internal rechargeable battery good for eight hours of life per charge.
The sensors are able to capture 1000 data points per second and shoot that data to user’s smartphone or tablet via a Bluetooth connection. The smartphone or tablet does have to be running an application is available for iOS or Android devices. The sensors cost $149.99 each and will be available to purchase next month.
