Intent To Purchase Windows Phone Products On The Rise, Increased To 3.8% In US

When Microsoft acquires Nokia, Microsoft will have control over the software as well as be able to make their own phones. That larger degree of control may just boost the Windows Phone platform. That is what they want. Only time will tell. Until then, they have a lot of room to grow. A lot of room.

According to a recent survey, intent to buy a Windows Phone product in the US is around 3.8%. See what I mean by a lot of room. They can almost only go up from this spot, unless they do something really dumb. The survey was conducted by Raymond James Analysts Tavis C. McCourt and Daniel Toomey.
It included 500 US residents and found that only 3.8% of them have intentions to purchase a Windows Phone product. That is actually an increase from 1.5% back in June. Like I said, they can only go up from such a low number. It looks like they are slowly but surely gathering numbers.
