Good news for SimCity fans. Maxis has announced the first expansion pack for the game and it is coming in mid-November. SimCity has always been popular and this verson is no different, despite the server issues that it started out with. Sadly the expansion does not bring an off-line mode with it though.
It still requires an Internet connection to play, but at least you get some new features. That is the whole point of expansions after all. This expansion pack takes place 50 years in the future, so you get new technology, planning techniques, and new disasters for the mayhem. You can also now build your cities vertically using MegaTowers.
