WD MyCloud NAS External Storage Unveiled


If you are running out of storage space on your computer and require a little extra for files and media you might be interested in a new device launched by Western Digital in the form of the WD MyCloud NAS storage solution.
The WD MyCloud NAS storage has been designed to provide users with a local storage device that can also be accessed remotely allowing media to be shared from the device even when you are not local to the network

Jim Welsh, executive vice president and general manager of WD’s branded products and consumer electronics groups explained:
“We believe that there’s no place like home for the cloud,”-”Everyone is inundated with thousands of digital files scattered across multiple computers and mobile devices, and controlling that chaos is a challenge. WD’s personal cloud is the easiest, most secure and most affordable way for customers to control that chaos, with access to all of their files anywhere, anytime.”
The WD MyCloud storage solution is available in three capacities, 2TB, 3TB and 4TB with the 2TB version priced at £130, and the 3TB priced at £160, the 4 TB version will not be available until November 2013.
