All eyes are on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but little did we know that the company had another Galaxy device they were keeping quiet about. One that they planned to release only in Japan, called the Galaxy J.
As you may or may not know, Samsung devices that are released in Japan usually don’t offer anything aside from slight modifications over the original, however the Galaxy J seems to be a pretty powerful smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy J was outed through a leaked NTT DoCoMo brochure. You can see it here in red. While we don’t have any concrete info yet, it looks like the handset will run on a Snapdragon 800 chip and 3GB of RAM.

The Galaxy J looks like a hybrid of the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4. It has a 5-inch display and actually looks pretty good. The Galaxy J also features some Japan-only features, like 1Seg TV tuning for instance, which is big in Japan. The brochure doesn’t mention the device’s Japanese release date, but we’re sure we’ll be hearing more about it from NTT DoCoMo very soon. Probably within the next month or two. As soon as we do, we will let you know as usual.
