Gamers looking forward to the launch of the new Battlefield 4 game might be pleased to learn that its developers, Dice have today announced that the Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC will be available to next generation Microsoft Xbox One console owners at launch.
The news will allow gamers to download the Battlefield 4 Second Assault pack when the Xbox One console launches on November 22nd 2013. Battlefield 4 will be available from November 1st for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
No details on the price of the Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC have been released as yet by either Microsoft or Dice, but it looks as though the new Xbox One console will be the first to receive the Second Assault DLC pack.
The press release published today by EA also announced a new event, Battlefield 4: Showdown Live Europe vs. USA that will promote the map pack on November 1st and will be streamed live from London and will involve two teams of 32 players each fighting it out on the new Microsoft Xbox One console.
Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC brings with it four fan-favourite Battlefield 3 maps which have been re-imagined and re-created using Frostbite 3.
