It’s really a bad idea to impersonate a Police Officer. In fact, it’s illegal. Well, some people will do just about anything to get Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5. Including pretending to be cops.

Three men posed as police officers in order to cut in line at the Staten Island Mall to get their hands on the game earlier than everyone else. Not cool. One of the men was actually an auxiliary NYPD officer, the other is the son of a retired officer. They also had a police car purchased at a police auction with a “lights-and-siren package” installed.

They flashed their badges at the crowd in order to get them to move out of the way so they could cut in line. It seemed to work great, but then they left the mall and made an illegal U-turn. Oops. A real police officer in an unmarked car caught them and exposed them as fake.
People go way too crazy in order to be “first”. It makes all gamers look like idiots, when in fact, just a few are.
